San Jose State Stadium Renovation Plan Approved

The California State University board of trustees voted Tuesday to approve San Jose State's proposed end zone project to renovate parts of aging Spartan Stadium. The project will cost about $38.5 million and will use no public funds. The athletic department has been seeking private donations and has raised about half of the necessary funds. It is not immediately clear when they plan to break ground on the project.
