Vanderbilt Booster John Rich Dies

Nashville businessman and longtime Vanderbilt athletics supporter John Rich, 85, died Monday night in his sleep, university officials confirmed. Rich was among Vanderbilt's most influential boosters and advisors for decades. He had a major hand in the construction of Vanderbilt Stadium in 1982, the expansion of McGugin Center and most recently the football practice fields, which are named in his honor.
