Scouting Guide:

Begovic is a goalkeeper for the English Premier League side Stoke City and for the Bosnia-Herzegovina national team.

The 25-year-old perfectly combines a big body with quick reactions to make scoring on him very difficult. He commands his box and can pick off crosses and set pieces with ease. He is also a fine shot-stopper, reaching difficult attempts with dives and leaps that other goalkeepers would not be able to get to.

Begovic has the total package of goalkeeping skills.

Where Next?

A few of the top English clubs are pursuing the services of the highly regarded Begovic.

First up is Chelsea and Arsenal, who the Mirror reports are battling to nab Begovic as their netminder in their respective upcoming Champions League and Premier League campaigns.

The aforementioned piece in the Mirror indicates that Chelsea may well be the front-runners between the two clubs.

Then there are the Premier League Champions, Manchester United, pursuing Begovic (per the Guardian). However, as the Guardian indicates, it might well be Fulham who sweeps on through and earns his signature.

All the interest, of course, speaks to how bright this goalkeeper's future is. He should continue to snuff out goals for years to come.
