One of the biggest wrestling events of the year takes the stage on Sunday, and the event is bound to have a number of exciting fights.

Extreme Rules 2013 is exciting, but it may not be as hyped up as the event was back in 2012.  The headline fight last year put Brock Lesnar against John Cena, and it was one of the bigger pay-per-view events of the year.  Who knows how popular the event will be this year, but Cena vs. Ryback just doesn’t have the same exciting feel to it.

Here’s the information for Extreme Rules 2013 for where and when to watch, as well as some exciting stories heading into the event.

When: Sunday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET

Where: Scottrade Center, St. Louis, Missouri

Watch: Pay-per-view through your cable provider

Who Will Win the Continued Feud Between Triple H and Brock Lesnar?

This rivalry has gone back and forth a number of times, and it will continue once again on Sunday.

The Steel Cage will make for a refreshing aspect to a rivalry that is beginning to feel a little stale.  The two have gone at it a number of times, but the two fighters just don’t seem to mesh like an exciting rivalry should.

The legacy of Triple H has made him one of the more exciting wrestlers of this generation, while Lesnar has gone from an MMA fighter to a WWE wrestler.  Unfortunately, the two just don’t seem to have the spark of a truly great feud.

Still, it will be interesting to see who wins.  It has the potential to be the last fight of the rivalry, and the winner will have bragging rights for quite some time.

How will Cena’s Achilles Impact His Fight Against Ryback?

During their European tour, Cena was injured during a fight against Ryback, according to WWE.com

With the Achilles injury, Cena could potentially be limited in his rematch against Ryback.  That could be a problem, considering Cena is trying to defend his title.

Meanwhile, Ryback has become a bigger name in the WWE, and he is slowly climbing up the ranks.  If he wins, he can take the title away from Cena.

Even with the injury, Cena is still the favorite in this fight.  Since the fight is a Last Man Standing match, it will be quite an entertaining one to watch with two physical guys like Cena and Ryback.

Can The Shield Take Home Some Titles?

The three members of The Shield will be fighting in Extreme Rules.  Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are competing for a chance to take the Tag Team Title and Dean Ambrose will be going up against Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship.

Both fights have titles on the line, so the odds for The Shield grabbing at least one title has to be pretty high.  These guys are gaining momentum after taking down giants in wrestling like The Rock and Cena.

One win would be a good day for The Shield, but they have a real shot to bring back both of these titles.  It will be interesting to see what happens.
