Logan Couture scored a power play goal early in overtime to give the Sharks a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. Couture was injured earlier in the game but returned and scored the game winner from five feet out after a nice pass by Patrick Marleau.

The Sharks got off to a quick start on Dan Boyle's power play goal early on. Joe Thornton helped screen Jonathan Quick on the play. A giveaway led directly to a goal by Tyler Toffoli midway through the period to tie it for the Kings.

After that, it was a physical and tight game played by both teams. Both Antti Niemi and Jonathan Quick played well in goal and neither team was able to score again until the overtime.

San Jose is back in the series, now trailing 2-1 with Game 4 in San Jose Tuesday night.
