If we're talking manager mind games, there are two men to whom every aspiring master manipulator must turn for guidance.

Both specialise in taking the attention away from their team and putting it onto themselves. Both have been very successful. Both like a nice glass of red.

The first is Jose Mourinho, the self-styled "Special One" who shot to fame after winning the Champions League with Porto and who has since won titles in England, Italy and Spain.

The second is the man he most respects—and for good reason. Sir Alex Ferguson has appeared for the last time in the Manchester United dugout, but he leaves behind a very long list of victims to his masterful mind games.
