It's Mind over Matter for the Trail Blazers at the NBA Draft Combine
CHICAGO -- When it comes to the Trail Blazers and this season's NBA draft, it appears the mind is just as important as the body.
Dana Sinclair, a Toronto-based psychologist employed by the Blazers, is conducting the majority of the 18 interviews with draft prospects the team is allowed to contact at this week's NBA draft combine at the University of Illinois-Chicago. General manager Neil Olshey said he and his five-person basketball operations staff are participating only in the interviews with players who may not come to Portland for a workout before the June 27 draft.
