Oakland A's Lose Series Finale 6-2 to Texas Rangers

OAKLAND -- The A's dropped the rubber match of their three-game series with the American League West-leading Texas Rangers, falling 6-2 Wednesday afternoon before 20,414 at the Oakland Coliseum. Rangers starter Alexi Ogando took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and Texas got a three-run home run from Nelson Cruz during a four-run fifth.
