The Top 10 Female Athletes to Follow…on Twitter
Male athletes are getting all the Twitter love, so I decided to give some to the chicks.
These ladies not only can kick your butt at their respective sports, but they can also tweet about it right after.
Also, just in case you didn’t know, you can join Sweet Mo and follow Bleacher Report on Twitter here: http://twitter.com/BleacherReport/
10. Biba Golic—Table Tennis
Oh, it’s a pro sport! I think this is something that would appear on “the ocho,” but I have to send a tweet or two Biba’s way.
She is Serbian. The only things I can think of that come from Serbia are tigers and table tennis players.
Check out Biba’s tweets here: http://twitter.com/Bgolic
9. Natalie Coughlin—Swimming
Swimmers have great bodies, and Natalie is no exception. I just hope she tweets about how she stays in such great shape.
If I had to guess, I would say her answer would be “swimming.”
8. Tanith Belbin—Figure Skating
She holds dual citizenship with the U.S. and Canada. She can obviously multi-task. For example, tweet and skate at the same time.
Skate on over and check out Tanith’s Twitter here:
7. Erica Blasberg—Golf
Beautiful swing, attractive girl, awesome Twitter account. Just be sure not to tweet in her back swing.
6. Sasha Cohen—Figure Skating
An Olympic silver medalist with skills on a keyboard as well. Sasha can tweet with the best of them.
5. Natalie Gulbis—Golf
Yet another lovely lady from the LPGA. Why don’t more people watch women’s golf?
4. Jenny Finch—Softball
Not only a gold medalist, but a tweeting expert as well. I would follow Jenny anywhere.
3. Tara Dakides—Snowboard
Tara is a hip chick who can slide a rail, pull out her iPhone, and tweet how awesome her moves on the mountain are.
2. Danica Patrick—Indy Car
Danica is a media darling. And what better way to be in the media these days other than tweeting about where your next photo shoot is?
1. Anna Kournikova—Tennis
Anna seems to make most top 10 lists because she is a babe and an athlete, but she makes this top 10 list because she tweets, often.
