The Yankees were hoping that Curtis Granderson would be a difference-maker for the Yankees when he finally returned from the broken right arm he suffered in his first spring training at-bat. Just not quite like this. Seattle's Felix Hernandez was mowing down the Yankees and had a three-run lead when Granderson hit a grounder back in his direction with a man on first in the sixth inning. Hernandez threw to second for the force out on Robinson Cano, but tweaked something in his left leg in the process. He was out of the game in the seventh and that's when the Yankees made their big comeback for a 4-3 win before 41,267 at the Stadium.
