Several years ago on a Trail Blazers road trip then-injured center Greg Oden slipped to the back of owner Paul Allen's team plane, and was allowed to rest his knee and take a nap in Allen's private cabin. This was a perk of being a No. 1 overall pick, and also, playing for a multi-billionaire. Hold that thought. Because the Trail Blazers dismissed trainer Jay Jensen after 19 years of service last Friday. I'm convinced this is a move that ends up right for both parties. The Blazers get to try something new, and more innovative. Jensen gets his freedom and an opportunity to go to work for another sports franchise where he can prove that he wasn't the unlucky charm.
