ST. LOUIS — Righthanded reliever Scott Atchison is going to get his elbow examined after suffering soreness and numbness in Monday night's 6-3 loss to the Cardinals in Busch Stadium. Atchison said he felt a similar numbness in his finger last year before being diagnosed with a tear of an elbow ligament. “I am worried about him, he's feeling a little tenderness in his elbow,” Terry Collins said. “I just saw him in the trainers room,” the manager said. “A little soreness and tenderness. That's not good.”
