Giants27Analyst IApril 28, 2009

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have announced that they released backup quarterback Richie Williams.

He has played in 52 games for the TiCats as a backup to Casey Printers.

However, with Kevin Glenn freshly signed, he'll now be the primary backup to new quarterback Quinton Porter.

Ex-NFL quarterbacks Josh Betts, Erik Meyer, and Adam Tafralis will fight for the third spot come June.
