Having already stolen home-court advantage from the New York Knicks, the Indiana Pacers grabbed a 2-1 series lead with an 82-71 victory at home on Saturday night.
Led by a dominant Roy Hibbert (24 points, 12 rebounds), the Pacers controlled the tempo of the game throughout and pulled away from the Knicks in the second half—using their dominant defense to shut down the multiple scoring threats that the Knicks have counted on this season.
Carmelo Anthony chalked up 21 points for the Knicks, but no other player for New York was able to get above double digits as the Pacers stormed to an easy win.
David West (11 points, 12 rebounds) and George Hill (17 points) also had strong performances for the Pacers, who will look to make it 3-1 when they square off in Game 4 which will be played in Indiana on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
