Los Angeles Kings 2, St. Louis Blues 1 FINAL SCORE

The Kings advanced to the second round of the playoffs by beating the Blues 2-1. LA wins the series 4-2, a tight series in which every game was decided by one goal.

Drew Doughty scored in the first period for the Kings but Chris Porter answered midway through the 2nd for St. Louis.

Dustin Penner scored the game winner with 0.2 seconds left in the 2nd period to put the Kings ahead for good.

The Kings played strong positional defense throughout the game, limiting the Blues to 22 shots. Now the Kings have a few well deserved days off before heading to the 2nd round of the playoffs where they will face the Ducks or Sharks.
