NBA Style: The Story of LeBron's Crazy Playoff Sweater

Lance Fresh@@LanceFreshFeatured ColumnistMay 10, 2013

Lance Fresh traveled to the Lower East Side in NYC to talk to one of the most exciting up and coming boutique fashion brands. Staple Design is a street wear fashion store for men that is distributed throughout the globe.

One person who is clearly enamored by their clothes is four-time NBA MVP LeBron James.

LeBron wore a Staple Design pigeon sweater during a postgame interview in the Miami Heat's first series against the Milwaukee Bucks. The sweater blew up Twitter and Instagram as NBA fans tried to learn more about the sweater's origin and availability.

We tracked down Staple Pigeon's head designer Courtney Walker to discuss how he designed the piece and what effect James wearing it had on the brand.

What do you think of the sweater? Would you wear it or leave it on the rack? Let us know in the comments below.
