After a double-overtime thriller in Game 1, the NBA playoffs returned to Texas as the San Antonio Spurs hosted the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of their Western Conference Semifinals clash.
The Warriors came into the game hoping to win their first second-round road game since 1991. They were also looking to win in San Antonio for the first time since 1997.
Klay Thompson made sure they had a chance, scoring 29 points in the first half and 34 overall to go with 14 rebounds. Stephen Curry complemented him with 22 points, while Andrew Bogut grabbed 11 key rebounds.
On the opposite end, Tim Duncan dropped 23 points and nine rebounds. Tony Parker picked up 20 points, while Kawhi Leonard finished with 11 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks.
The question is, were the Warriors' sharpshooters strong enough to lead Golden State to a streak-ending victory? Or were the Spurs' old legs able to silence the young guns?
