The 2013 NBA playoffs resumed on Monday night, with the defending champion Miami Heat hosting the Chicago Bulls in Game 1 of their first-round series.
Miami and Chicago resumed their long-standing rivalry, as the injury-depleted Bulls looked to pull off an unthinkable upset. Despite splitting their regular-season series, however, many labeled the Heat as significant favorites in this game and series.
Chicago had other plans.
Nate Robinson led the Bulls with 27 points and nine assists, while Jimmy Butler tallied 21 points and 14 rebounds. On the opposite end, LeBron James led the Heat with 24 points and Mario Chalmers came up with seven assists.
The question is, were the Bulls able to pull off the extraordinary upset in Miami? Or did the Heat hold down their home court?
