Nick Saban's House Is for Sale If Any Alabama Fan Has $11 Million Lying Around
Being a championship coach seems to have its perks.
As for cost, the report states the property is listed for $10.9 million, which sounds like a lot until you take a look at the mammoth estate.
Thankfully, we can live vicariously through Alabama's coach, who is coming off his fourth BCS championship, with some marvelous images, via Concierge Auctions:
According to the report, the estate is a whopping 9,600 square feet and sits comfortably along Lake Burton in Clayton, Ga.
Such a locale makes pretty much the perfect place to barbecue in unbelievable comfort:
It just wouldn't be a classic lake house without a pier of its own.
As for specifics, Couret reports that the house features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, mandating you go above and beyond to find guests to occupy all the rooms.
You can go ahead and supersize that Christmas tree, because the grand room features a 24-foot vaulted ceiling. Other than that, there is a billiard room, a wine cellar, office, rooms for staff and "formal and professional kitchens."
Yes, this American version of Downton Abbey has more than one kitchen.
Saban continues to impress, as he explains that this is just one of his humble abodes:
My family and I own another home on the lake, which we have enjoyed for 12 years, so I was excited when this very special lot came available to develop with Jim [Suddes]. Lake Burton is our favorite getaway. It’s a beautiful, hidden gem, where we find great peace and seclusion.
Now, if any of you are confident at your auction game, feel free to bid away on a championship-grade estate that will guarantee the stress from life melts away the second you arrive.
Well, until you see the mortgage payments.
