Houston Texans 2009 Draft Class
Brian Cushing: Outside Linebacker
Round 1: Pick 15, Overall 15
Look for Brian Cushing to crush skulls. I suspect he draws his power from his hair, much like Samson from the bible.

Connor Barwin: Defensive End
Round 2: Pick 14, Overall 46
I’ll be looking forward to more body slams by Connor. I’ve always liked the name Connor, you can definitely tell he’s a white guy just from the name.

Antoine Caldwell: Center
Round 3: Pick 13, Overall 77
This wall of a man should contribute to the offensive line of the Texans.

Glover Quin: Safety
Round 4: Pick 12, Overall 112
Nothing witty to say about Glover here. He should provide some much needed help on the safety position.

Anthony Hill: Tight End
Round 4: Pick 22, Overall 122
Hill will be competing with Owen Daniels and James Casey, but I have a feeling his keen sense of style will be of help.

James Casey: Tight End
Round 5: Pick 16, Overall 152
The story is James Casey got his position with Rice by mailing a picture of himself without a shirt on to the coach (no homo, I think). I’m thinking he employed the same strategy with Kubiak.

Brice McCain: Cornerback
Round 6: Pick 15, Overall 188
With Dunta Robinson unhappy with being franchised this season, the Texans look like they may me preparing for his departure next season with the addition of Brice McCain.

Troy Nolan: Safety
Round 7: Pick 14, Overall 223
Nolan is the second safety the Texans took in the draft. As you can tell he likes to celebrate defensive touchdowns by having teammates jerk him off. No word yet if he will keep this up as a Texan.

Greg Valentino: Defensive End
Round 7: Final Pick
Greg Valentino will be featured on ESPN’s outside the lies. After overcoming some obstacles in life, Gary Kubiak has decided to draft Valentino to literally throw offensive lineman to the sidelines, and break opposing quarterbacks in half.
