WWE Raw: 3 Big Names Teased to Return on This Week's Show

The roster for Monday Night Raw has been incredibly thin as of late. Last Monday's show really put into perspective the dire need to establish more superstars to rise to the main event level, and not depend on the likes of John Cena as much.

Because of the need to make a better build for Extreme Rules, three names are scheduled to appear at this week's show (h/t WrestlingInc.com).

Although the Miz has been nothing past a decent midcarder as of late, he is definitely needed to add some depth to the roster. Currently, Wade Barrett is without a legitimate feud for his Intercontinental Championship, so Miz could easily fill that position.

Another good spot to place the Miz is to engage in a feud with Fandango. Miz has all the tools on the mic to belittle Fandango's character similar to what Chris Jericho did, and he can be the next former world champion to put Fandango over, since the WWE is continuing his push.

Brock Lesnar

With the Rock absent from a WWE ring for now—and most likely for good—the feud between Triple H and Brock Lesnar was forced to extend. Due to the concept of Extreme Rules, the stipulation of the bout is that it will be under the confines of a steel cage.

Brock Lesnar is a vital name to appear on Raw. He is a big draw and will cause a significant level of improvement for the show. Although his feud with Triple H should be extinguished (at least for the time being), Lesnar definitely brings depth to a thin Raw lineup.

Chris Jericho

Since his return at the Royal Rumble, Chris Jericho has exhibited some of his greatest matches in recent history against the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler. In spite of this, his win-loss record post-Royal Rumble has not been something to brag about.

In fact, Jericho was used to put Fandango over in his "debut" match at WrestleMania 29. With Extreme Rules approaching, it seems as if the WWE will revisit this feud, which it shouldn't. Mission accomplished—Jericho put Fandango over. He certainly does not have to do it again.
