For the first time during the 2013 NBA playoffs, we witnessed a Game 7. The win-or-go-home competitors were the Chicago Bulls and the home team Brooklyn Nets as they looked to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and face the Miami Heat.
After a lackluster first half, both teams proved to embrace that sense of urgency during the third and fourth quarters.
Joakim Noah led the Bulls on both ends of the floor, tallying 24 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks on 12-of-17 shooting from the floor. Marco Belinelli stepped up in a similar manner, scoring 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from behind the three-point line.
As for the Nets, they were led by point guard Deron Williams. D-Will finished with 24 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Brook Lopez picked up 21 points and nine rebounds, and Gerald Wallace dropped 19.
The question is, which team is headed to Miami? Is it the injury-ridden Bulls or the star-studded Nets?
