Mike Leake (2-1) went 5 2/3 innings and allowed two runs on nine hits. He walked none and struck out three. All the damage came in the sixth inning. The Reds took the lead in the first. Joey Votto singled with two outs. Todd Frazier followed with a bolt over center fielder David DeJesus' head for a double. Votto scored easily.
