The Minnesota Vikings watched as the seemingly inhuman Adrian Peterson put the team on his back in 2012 and dragged them into the playoffs, leaving observers to ask variations of the same question throughout the offseason.

"Imagine if they had a passing game..."

Enter Cordarrelle Patterson.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman sent a bevy of picks to the New England Patriots in order to jump back into the first round to select the former Volunteer, adding to the offseason overhaul of the receiving corps.

With free-agent acquisition Greg Jennings and tight end Kyle Rudolph, the Vikings have a very talented trio of pass-catchers to compliment what figures to once again be a dominating ground game.

Yes, quarterback could still be a trouble spot, but Christian Ponder played arguably his best game as a pro during a Week 17 win over the Green Bay Packers.
