What The Jets Need to Do on Day 2

Mark Sanchez is the ever present face of the New York Jets.  Many are saying that the Jets gave up too much to get Sanchez but I am not believing it. Does giving up 3 players that mean next to nothing to your organization and a couple of draft picks warrant this notion?

On to Day 2 for the Jets.  They really need to draft a WR in the third round. One that can compliment Jerricho Cotchery.  I think the player that makes the most sense is USC WR Patrick Turner.  He is 6-5 and looks the part and had a standout senior season, who by the way was Mark Sanchez's favorite target in Trojan land.  This would immediately upgrade the WR position for New York and would give Sanchez a legitimate target who he already has a rapport with.  I think this would be a great get for the Jets and could go a long way in deciding their success in 2009 and beyond.
