For the first time in about a week, I got to sit down and actually watch a Lincecum start from beginning to finish. At first glance, Lincecum's line from last night against the Padres — 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 BB, 9 SO — looks pretty darned good. In fact, Lincecum is on something of a roll over his last two starts, throwing 13.2 IP, facing 55 batters, striking out 17 of them to just 5 walks, and posting an 1.32 ERA along the way. Looking at just purely the numbers, that's a pretty decent two-start stretch of pitching.
