Sidney Crosby scored the game-winning goal using the shaft of his stick on a pass from Mark Recchi halfway in the 3rd period and the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-3. The best-of-7 series is now tied 1-1.

For over a dozen of players in the Penguins roster including goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and Sidney Crosby himself, this game now represent their very first playoff win in their young and promising careers.
