The UCLA Bruins' spring showcase has officially ended
Due to a litany of injuries on the offensive line and in the secondary, head coach Jim Mora treated this scripted scrimmage as a spectacle of sorts.
Many elements of the event were catered to the fans—purely from an entertainment standpoint. This included students coming onto the field at to run the 40 yard dash, field punts and kick field goals for prizes.
Brett Hundley had a strong showing, as he went 9/13 for 121 yards and a touchdown throw. Wide receiver Devin Fuller led the team with four catches for 50 yards, while tailback Jordon James had a strong showing catching the ball out of the backfield.
Former UCLA DB Aaron Hester has signed a free agent deal with the Denver Broncos. He's the fourth Bruin to sign as an undrafted free agent today.

With the large contingency of recruits at the Rose Bowl, it wouldn't be a shock to see the Bruins land a commitment or two before the night ends
Hundley is 9/13 for 121 yards and a touchdown.
Fuller has four grabs for 50 yards and a touchdown.
On the other side of the spectrum, the secondary in general has looked very poor.
For Bruins fans, it's a good thing that they have a very talented quartet of secondary recruits slated to enroll in June.
The standouts during the scrimmage included Brett Hundley, Devin Fuller and Jordon James.
Hundley's arm strength looks better than a season ago, and he looks more explosive running the football.
Fuller is silky smooth, and has been abusing a very inexperienced secondary. His juke to get in space was very impressive.
James ran the ball very hard, and showed great agility on a 50-yard reception. He definitely enhanced his case to be the starter at tailback.
At halftime of the scrimmage portion, some current UCLA students are participating in various football activities.
Those skills include fielding punts and running the 40-yard dash. Various prizes will also be given away.

Brett Hundley just threw a laser over top to Devin Fuller for a 25-yard touchdown. Fuller got great separation on the defensive back for the score.
The coverage by the secondary has looked pretty poor.
In other words, expect the likes of Priest Willis, Tahaan Goodman, Johnny Johnson and Tyler Foreman to see time as true freshmen this season.
Kenny Walker showed tremendous speed, and scored a touchdown on a 20-yard crossing pattern. He was able to make the catch, and turn the corner as he outran defenders to the end zone.
Walker might be the fastest member of the entire football team.
T.J. Millweard out of Fort Worth is now commanding the second string offense. He's moving the ball pretty well down the field with his arm.
With the sideline reporter trying to interview Jim Mora, the head coach just dropped an "F-bomb" on television trying to get one of his players off the field.
Hopefully some earmuffs will be given to the youngsters watching at home, should they watch the replay.
Hundley's arm strength looks improved from a season ago.
Thus far, both the first string offense and second string unit have marched down the field for touchdowns.
Jordon James just scored on a draw play. He's looked very impressive thus far, which included a 50 yard reception earlier in the drive.
Remember the name Kenny Orjioke.
He's got a chance to be a difference maker from the outside linebacker spot.
Paul Perkins just showed his immense potential, as he took a swing pass 25 yards for a touchdown.
The Bruins are about to come out of the tunnel and take the field for the second portion of the spring showcase.
