NEW YORK -- Aaron Rodgers will make $40 million in his first year, more than $100 million over five. That's a nice paycheck. That will buy a few belts. That will make you forget you once sat in a green room for hours waiting to be drafted while some scrubs went before you. The Packers did the right thing, of course. You lock up Rodgers. You do it almost (emphasis on almost) at any cost. There isn't a better quarterback in football who combines accuracy, mobility and mental toughness. He's John Unitas with wheels (yeah, I said it).
