The Redskins could still land a safety like Shamarko Thomas on the last day.

The Washington Redskins still need to add a safety on the final day of the 2013 NFL draft. Fortunately, there are enough quality options left to choose from and there's still room for a lineman or two.

The Redskins begin their draft with two intriguing picks—cornerback David Amerson and tight end Jordan Reed are skilled, versatile players who will do more than simply provide depth.

Their selections also answered two obvious needs for the Redskins. However, the bulk of the franchise's involvement in this draft will come on its final day.

Mike Shanahan and Bruce Allen have five picks to utilize over three rounds. They should still target further secondary help.

A true third-down running back would also be a smart choice, as would depth along both lines. Here are some predictions for how the Redskins might use their quintet of picks on the draft's final day.
