All eyes turn to the second and third rounds of the 2013 NFL draft as many fantastic prospects are still available—including some that many thought would go in the first round. On Thursday night, the run on offensive linemen surprised many and left the second round with a lot of tantalizing skill-position talent.
As we look at every pick live, it's important to remember that "reach" is a subjective term. The fact I believe a player is a reach doesn't mean a thing to a team that sets its draft board based on need and fit. Because of that, I'm purposefully weighing need and fit against reach in order to give teams some benefit of the doubt. To truly get a terrible live grade, a team would need to reach for a player who doesn't truly fit their system or who wasn't a need.
Hopefully, for your favorite team, that won't happen.
