Thank you all for joining me, especially if you're in America; I think I'm going to go have some breakfast and a very long nap after getting up this early on a Saturday morning.
But my drowsiness was not for naught. A very good game between two sides that could have just coasted made for a great Saturday morning of football.
My fellow Bleacher Report writers and I will be around to provide analysis of this and the other Premier League games this weekend, so don't think about changing that browser window.
Until next time, thanks for your company and have a good weekend.
A game that got better and better, and a result that was deserved for both sides. City were the more fluid, consistently dangerous team throughout, but West Ham worked extremely hard and will be content to get at least have gotten a goal.
In the end, though, it's a result that doesn't matter a whole lot for either team. Sure, City moved to secure second place, but they're into the Champions League and West Ham are just as surely safe.
Andy Carroll gets on the scoresheet via an absolute howler from Joe Hart, The ball was struck hard, but was right at him and rolled into his palms, but he let it slip through his legs.
90+3' Into the third minute of extra time of four. West Ham are annoying City's defense with long balls and downward headers, but there's not too much longer to hold out now.
90' Joe Hart actually had to be very alert to get down and stop a West Ham header from point-blank range, but that looks to be one of the Hammers' last chances.
Looked like he fell awkwardly while making that save, but he's alright after some attention from the medial staff.
88' Manchester City substitution
Kolo Toure comes on for Samir Nasri as Roberto Mancini looks to seal this game off.
87' Outstanding move from Manchester City is only prevented from being a goalscoring one by the heroics of Guy Demel, almost on the line.
An absolute stunner from Yaya Toure! People will be talking about that one tomorrow, for sure.
Toure just picked the ball up outside the box, took a couple steps and whipped a searing curler into the top right corner with his left foot. Hard to believe that he scored that goal with his weaker foot, but he did.
81' West Ham double substitution
Matthew Taylor for Kevin Nolan, and
Carlton Cole for Joey O'Brien.
78' Manchester City substitution
James Milner comes on for David Silva, adding a bit of toughness and work-rate at the expense of flair.
78' Uh-oh, Pablo Zabaleta saw red mist after a terrible challenge from Joey O'Brien, and both players will get a yellow card. Zabaleta immediately pushed O'Brien in the chest, but no facial contact.
73' Samir Nasri with one of the misses of the season!
Carlos Tevez played a perfect ball into the six-yard box for an unmarked Nasri, and the Frenchman simply missed the ball after trying to poke it in with the top of his boot.
That probably won't come back to haunt Manchester City, but what a miss that was from a top-class Premier League footballer.
72' West Ham putting together a really good period of sustained pressure, worrying City's defense with clever turns, flicks, runs and crosses. But for a couple of miscues, the Hammers could actually be on the board.
And a yellow card for Jack Collison after a ridiculously unsportsmanlike bit of time-wasting.
68' Oh, looked like Tevez was going to score there, but Joey O'Brien dove in heroically and prevented the Argentine's point-blank shot from troubling Jussi Jaaskelainen. And it would have troubled him.
66' West Ham substitution
Jack Collison replaces Ricardo Vaz Te. Collison's last six goals have been scored away from home, so let's see what he can do here.
61' Outstanding defensive header by Vincent Kompany, just doing enough to keep the ball away from the head of Andy Carroll, who was flying into the box to meet it.
59' West Ham and the visiting fans are screaming for a penalty, but Pablo Zabaleta did not intentionally touch the ball with his left hand, and Howard Webb correctly waves their appeals away.
55' Ooh, Carlos Tevez looked to have a golden opportunity after a clever flick from Samir Nasri, but O'Neil I think it was got a tremendous block in at the last second.
54' Yaya Toure just went on one of his electrifying, bull-like runs straight through the center of midfield and the crowd's intensity rose for one of the first times during this match.
Still City attack, but the Hammers are defending well.
51' A relatively fluid attack by West Ham's standards amounts to nothing except a Manchester City counterattack that results in a corner kick.
Kevin Nolan has to be alert to head the ball away after the corner is taken quickly, but danger is averted.
48' Unrelated, but have a look at Bayern Munich's options off the bench today.
What a sub's bench! FC Bayerns substitutes today - 7 Top class player! Neuer, Alaba, Dante, Martinez, Robben, Ribéry, Gomez. ^M.Hörwick— FC Bayern München (@FCBayern) April 27, 2013
47' Ooh, Pablo Zabaleta had to work to get Gary O'Neil's dangerous cross out for a corner. West Ham have come out of the dressing room fired up and ready to go for this second half.
46' West Ham get the second half underway. Let's hope it's an exciting second 45.
