With the 21st pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Cincinnati Bengals drafted Tyler Eifert. The former Notre Dame safety will join an already explosive group of receivers in Cincinnati.

Pro Outlook

Eifert was regarded as one of the safest picks in this year's draft. He's an incredibly talented tight end who should make an impact right away in the NFL.

Eifert possesses great hands with the ability to make plays after the catch. There is a dynamic aspect to his game in the open field and he consistently wins down the seam against linebackers and safeties.

While he isn't a great blocker, he is certainly talented enough to be a three-down player for Cincinnati.

Fantasy Outlook

Don't be surprised if Eifert is one of the top fantasy football rookies in 2013. He's going to a solid offense where weapons like A.J. Green and Jermaine Gresham will help take some of the pressure off him.

Look for Eifert to quickly become one of the top fantasy football tight ends in the league.

Roster Outlook

With Gresham already on the roster, Eifert will add depth to the tight end position. The Bengals could decide to run a number of plays with two tight ends on the field, much like the New England Patriots do.

Eifert is also athletic enough to line up at wide receiver, so don't be surprised to see him play on the outside from time to time.

Pick Analysis

While tight end was not a need for Cincinnati, it's hard to not like this pick. You can never have too many options on offense, and Eifert is probably the most NFL-ready option in this year's draft.
