This weekend will be quite an exciting one as the NFL Draft begins. As we near toward the draft I have added my 2009 NFL Mock Draft below. I think the Lions should draft Stafford first cause they need quarterback that has a strong arm and can run in the pocket.

The Lions had a tough season last year, but they will need to get a lot of impact players in this years draft if they want a chance at the playoffs. The question is, is taking Stafford first overall pick in the draft a risk or is a good decision?

That's one thing we will have to find out.

1 Detroit   Matthew Stafford

2 St Louis   Andre Smith

3 Kansas City   Aaron Curry

4 Seattle       Mark Sanchez

5 Cleveland   Jason Smith

6  Cincinnati  Eugene Monroe

7  Oakland     Jeremy Maclin

8  Jacksonville  Michael Crabtree

9 Green Bay      Malcolm Jenkins

10  San Francisco  Aaron Maybin
