The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the opening-round series between these teams.
In Game 1, the Thunder blew out the Rockets 120-91 as they proved to be the much better team. The Thunder jumped out to a 26-19 lead after the first quarter and increased their lead throughout the game by winning each quarter.
The difference in that game was the Thunder's impressive shooting performance. As a team, they shot 53 percent from the field, including 41.7 percent from three on 10-of-24 shooting.
Led by James Harden, the Rockets have the scoring power to put some points on the board. Heading into Game 2, the big question was whether or not the Rockets could play some defense in order to hang with the Thunder.
