Notre Dame released its 2013 home football game kickoff times Wednesday. For the third straight season, there will be a night game in South Bend.

The Oct. 19 showdown with longtime rival USC will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET. Home games against Temple (Aug. 31), Michigan State (Sept. 21), Oklahoma (Sept. 28), Navy (Nov. 2) and BYU (Nov. 23) will all kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET.

The fifth annual Shamrock Series game on Oct. 5 against Arizona State at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex., will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. local). All four previous Shamrock Series games have begun at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the Irish winning all four against Washington State (2009 in San Antonio), Army (2010 in New York), Maryland (2011 in Landover, Md.) and Miami (FL) (2012 in Chicago).

All home games will air on NBC for the 23rd consecutive season.

Notre Dame did not play a night game at Notre Dame Stadium for 20 seasons between 1991 and 2010, but added a single primetime game each year beginning in 2011. The Fighting Irish lost to USC, 31-17, in 2011 and defeated Michigan, 13-6, last season.

6.4 million viewers watched Notre Dame's win over the Wolverines last season on NBC.

NBC and Notre Dame agreed to a 10-year contract extension last week through 2025, which allows for the possibility of multiple primetime games in South Bend beginning in 2016, as well as the possibility of a game airing on the NBC Sports Network.

Kickoff times for the Irish's five road games have not been announced, although the Sept. 7 game at Michigan has been selected as a primetime game by ESPN.
