In a clash between two of the most high-octane offenses in the NBA, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Golden State Warriors in Game 2 of their postseason series.
The Nuggets escaped with Game 1, overcoming a late Stephen Curry three-pointer by way of Andre Miller's game-winner with 1.3 seconds remaining on the game clock. Those were two of Miller's season-high 28 points, which proved to be the difference as Denver utilized defense to pull out this win.
Stephen Curry tallied 19 points and nine assists in the loss, but the bigger news is that the Warriors lost All-Star power forward David Lee for the season with a torn hip flexor.
The question is, could the Warriors overcome the absence of their leader in Game 2 to tie the series at 1-1? Or were the Nuggets able to continue their season-long home dominance and make it 2-0?
