Syracuse has produced its share of early-round picks and NFL stars. Over the past two decades, the Orange's ability to produce productive NFL players has probably topped its ability to win NCAA games. Ernie Davis was the first overall pick in 1962. Jim Brown was sixth in 1957. Donovan McNabb highlighted the most top-heavy draft class Syracuse has ever had, going No. 2 in 1999.
