Opinions vary on LSU's Les Miles
The man who has an 84-21 record as the head coach of the Tigers was on the hot seat just three short seasons ago, thanks to a perception that his team underperformed and curious clock management decisions.
But as quirky as he is, the man wins football games.
Whether you think Miles is one of the greatest coaches in LSU history, a "mad hatter" who benefits from talent within his state or something in between, there's no doubt that the man can hold the attention of an audience during a press conference.
Following LSU's spring game on Saturday, Miles answered a reporter's cell phone from the podium and hilarity ensued.
What's the lesson, friends?
Don't drunk dial your reporter friends until AFTER the coach's press conference. Otherwise, you could find a surprise on the other end of the line.
This is the same man who had this classic postgame appearance following last season's 41-35 win over Ole Miss.
He comes off as crazy at times, but Miles is what makes the SEC great. He's an elite coach who lets his personality shine through the media with seemingly little restraint.
Never change, Les. Never change.
