Pittsburgh Steelers Ready to Draft QB, Like Tyler Bray
Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Every year, Pittsburgh Steelers GM Kevin Colbert told reporters that they are looking for every position in the draft except quarterback. That's no longer the case. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that the Steelers are very much open to adding a quarterback. They even reportedly have one in mind. "A lot of NFL teams, the Steelers included, think Bray is the most-talented quarterback in the draft," Gerry Dulac writes. It is unlikely the Steelers wind up with Bray, if only because some team could take a risk on him in the second or third rounds. Bray as a ton of off-field questions but his "arm talent" is as good as anyone in the draft. It's hard to imagine the Steelers investing a second day pick early on a quarterback that projects as a long-term backup to Ben Roethlisberger. It's easier to imagine the Steelers grabbing another Miami of Ohio product Zac Dysert. The Steelers have Bruce Gradkowski on the roster as their backup quarterback, but it sounds like they want to groom a younger option. If the Steelers don't draft a quarterback this year, they will get much older instead. Dulac writes that Charlie Batch will likely re-join the team if the Steelers don't draft anyone.
