Shaun Marcum is 70 to 75 pitches away from making his Mets debut. Marcum, who has yet to join the team and was recently diagnosed with nerve inflammation in his neck, is scheduled to pitch an extended spring training game camp in Port St. Lucie, Fla. on Monday and if all goes well, he'll start for the Mets on April 27th at home against Philadelphia.
