Set after the Joker demands Batman turn himself in, Gotham's district attorney holds a press conference to discuss the city's options. He questions: "Should we give into this terrorist's demands?" "Things are worse than ever," argues a reporter. As the crowd rumbles in agreement, Dent unleashes a masterclass in argument reversal: "Yes, they are. But the night is darkest just before the dawn.
