    Alec Lemon, the former Syracuse Orange wide receiver, isn't a very well-known name among common NFL fans. However, Lemon brings an intriguing skill set to the NFL and the 2013 NFL draft.

    He's a special playmaker once the ball gets in his hands. While Lemon isn't anywhere near an elite prospect, he should contribute for an NFL team in a number of ways.

    Lemon was an outstanding offensive and defense player while in high school. As a senior, Lemon set the Maryland high school record for receiving yards with 1,616. He also tied the records for receptions (103) and touchdowns (23).

    On defense, Lemon recorded 30 tackles, had six interceptions and two forced fumbles.

    While Alec Lemon made an impact in all four of his seasons at Syracuse, it wasn't until his junior year in 2011 that he really started to shine.

    While Alec Lemon displayed solid straight-line speed at the NFL Combine, he really struggled with all the other drills.

    Lemon showed that he lacks good strength and athleticism to be a huge threat in the NFL.

    Not only was Alec Lemon an outstanding football player in high school, but he also managed to be a well-rounded individual. Lemon also played varsity baseball during high school.

    However, the most impressive thing about Lemon during his high school years was how he helped the community. He volunteered for the Arundel School Mentoring Program, proving that he is a high-character individual.
