There hangs the only Championship banner in Chiefs history. With all of the changes from the Owner, to the General Manager, to the Head Coach ,to one of the Greatest Chief to ever play the game,Tony Gonzalez.

Gone are Lamar Hunt,Carl Peterson, Hank Stram, and Otis Taylor, another Chief great. The Kansas City Chiefs in my opinion has made the smartest moves than any team before the draft by far. First they get rid of Carl "The Truth" Peterson, then Herm "We play to win the Game " Edwards, and who knows whats going on with Larry "Babyface" Johnson.

By adding the likes of Scott Pioli,Todd Haley,Matt Cassel, and a few good men, the Kansas City Chiefs just may be adding another banner to its flagpole very soon. With the upcoming draft, the Chiefs are in the best position to do a lot of damage and fill the rest of the squad with some pretty good picks.

In the third pick I see Aaron Curry coming aboard along with some needy offensive linemen, and by getting the Atlanta Falcons second round pick in 2010—all the pieces to the puzzle should be in place.

This upcoming year will be a very exciting an interesting team to follow, if everything comes together as planned, you will be seeing a lot of gold and red in the playoffs for years to come.
