It was one of those nights. You know the kind. Tossing and turning, can't get comfortable in bed. The wife gives you the Heisman for the third time and, just when you finally start to get some sleep, you wake up in flop sweat from a dream where you are playing strip poker with Gabe Rivera, Tim Worley, and Huey Richardson. Anyway it came to me...my hand starting typing on its own and here it is, MY 2009 STEELERS DRAFT Prediction
This guy has all the tools, hands, savvy, and the perfect LeBeau temperament. Plus he can return kicks.
Perfect 5 Technique for the Steelers 3-4 Defense. LeBeau is sticking around so the Steelers decide to give him some new toys.
He's a leader, hard worker, smart, and has heart. Hines will groom him before he retires
He's a kick return wizard, and a solid DB. Could play FS in time.
He's just a football player: good athlete, good instincts, good fit. Farrior needs to start grooming someone.
I'll admit this is probably too high for him, but I love this kid, and the bigger the stage, the bigger he plays. Watch the USC game. Sadly he has short arms, somehow Mike Webster managed to play through that.
Little Hamp, Little Snack, whatever you want to call him. I think he has a burst and would work very well at the "0 Technique" for the Steelers.
He has some talent, but I don't have to hold out hope. The Steelers have been terrible at drafting tackles lately and I picked him for the upside.
"Bus Junior," as he was referred to by the Steelers scouts,he tested at or near the top of every drill during his Pro-Day. I love this kid.
