It’s Thursday again, and that means TNA Wrestling presents a brand new episode of Impact Wrestling!

As the Road to Slammiversary continues, TNA looks to keep the momentum going strong. While only three matches have been confirmed by the company, they look to do just that as their 11th anniversary approaches.

Let’s see what TNA Wrestling has in store for the fans this week!

Kurt Angle vs. Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff

In the United Kingdom, Kurt Angle went one-on-one against Aces & Eights member Mr. Anderson inside of a steel cage. Angle got quite the surprise when a masked member entered the cage, threatening him. That masked man turned out to be Garett Bischoff, and Wes Brisco soon joined him in the attack.

Both Brisco and Bischoff were two wrestlers Angle had been mentoring at the time. In fact, it was Angle who not only got Brisco into Gut Check, but also helped convince the judges to give him a contract. Angle had been mentoring Aces & Eights members the whole time, which didn’t sit too well with the Olympic gold medalist.

At Lockdown, Angle finally got his hands on one of them. Inside the steel cage, he set out to destroy Brisco, but he didn’t quite get what he wanted. Brisco pulled out an upset victory with the help of Aces & Eights vice president D’Lo Brown, and that gave Brisco some major bragging rights.

Angle continued to fight the Aces & Eights, but kept both Brisco and Bischoff mainly in his sights. Last week on Impact Wrestling, Angle asked for a Handicap match with them, and he got it.

What will happen when Kurt Angle takes on both members of the Aces & Eights? Can he finally gain some revenge, or will Wes Brisco and Garett Bischoff take out Angle once again?

Mickie James vs. Miss Tessmacher: No. 1 Contender’s Match

While in the United Kingdom, Tara’s 104-day reign as TNA Knockouts champion came to an end at the hands of Velvet Sky. Since then, however, Velvet has taken a back seat to the war between Gail Kim and former Knockouts referee Taryn Terrell.

While Velvet would get involved on the side of Taryn, the past month has been all about her and Gail. With ODB as the division’s new referee, Taryn defeated Gail one-on-one and gained some much-needed revenge. Now that their war seems to be over, the focus goes back on Velvet Sky and the TNA Knockouts Championship.

This week on Impact Wrestling, Mickie James and Miss Tessmacher, who are both two-time Knockouts champions, will face off against each other to determine the No. 1 contender for Velvet’s championship.

Will Mickie James’ experience lead to her becoming the No. 1 contender, or can Miss Tessmacher upset her? Will Velvet Sky be ringside to scout her future opponents?

AJ Styles vs. James Storm

About a month ago, AJ Styles made his return to TNA after walking out on the company late last year. He came out while Bad Influence, the team that put him through hell in 2012, was beating down James Storm.

Styles chased off Christopher Daniels and Kazarian, but surprised everyone when he knocked out Storm as well. Since then, Storm has set his sights on Styles. When he was given the chance to explain himself, Storm would interrupt him before he could really speak.

One person who wanted to hear from him was general manager Hulk Hogan. Due to his new attitude, and the Aces & Eights giving him a club vest, Hogan wanted to know which side he was on. Would he help lead Team TNA, or would he put on the Aces & Eights vest and join them?

Last week on Impact Wrestling, Styles was set to make his decision. Before he could speak, Storm once again interrupted him, but he was also given the third choice of joining Bad Influence. Without saying a word, Styles just walked out of the ring. Due to him not making his choice, though, Hogan made this match.

Can AJ Styles win his first match back since December? Will James Storm gain some revenge from the attack? Could Styles ultimately make his decision as to which side he’s on this week as well?

Also expect to see TNA World Heavyweight champion Bully Ray, as he seeks a new challenger after taking out Jeff Hardy last week in Full Metal Mayhem. More developments in the Tag Team Championship scene are likely as well, with new champions Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez, and former champions Austin Aries and Bobby Roode.

This episode of Impact Wrestling is looking like it’ll be quite a good one. Will it be? Tune in to find out!
