NHL Playoffs 2013: Top Seeds on Upset Alert

Ryan O'Leary@BR0LearyFeatured Columnist IApril 18, 2013

Last season, the Los Angeles Kings pulled off quite a feat when they entered the playoffs as an eight seed (barely making the postseason altogether) and beat a formidable Vancouver Canucks team that everyone expected to advance out of the first round.

Los Angeles went on to win the Stanley Cup, fueled by that huge series win over Vancouver. In fact, the Kings are the only eight seed to win the Stanley Cup.

But this raises a good question: Which top seeds heading into the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs are ripe for the picking against an upstart seven or eight seed?

Check out the latest NHL video from Bleacher Report as we get ready for the playoffs by dissecting some upset specials this postseason.
