2013 NFL Draft: Most Overrated Players in the Mix to Be Selected

Josh ZerkleChief Writer IIIApril 18, 2013

Some guys in this year's NFL draft are simply getting too much love.

Take Alec Ogletree of Georgia, for example. The linebacker has the dreaded "character issues" tag after some extracurricular entanglements at Georgia, but then he puts up some decent numbers at the combine and now everybody loves him. Seriously?

And it's not just the "workout warriors" that are getting extra play; some guys are just simply overvalued. The skill players in this year's draft—quarterbacks and defensive backs especially—are a cut below what we've seen in recent years, relative to the rest of the field. Have all of those players been evaluated properly? I don't think so!

Join me with NFL Lead Writers Aaron Nagler and Michael Schottey as we offer our most overrated players of this year's NFL draft. Enjoy our takes in the video above and leave your own thoughts in the comments. As always, thanks for watching.

You're invited to Bleacher Report's Live Draft Bash from Times Square in New York City (RSVP here). If you can't make it to the party, we'll see you online for our live draft party coverage.
