Jonathan Papelbon once lived a short distance from where the first bomb went off at Monday’s Boston Marathon. As scary as what happened in Boston on Monday is for many of us, for someone like Papelbon, it is reasonably scarier. His one-time proximity to the explosions, and the fact that he’s both in the public eye and around large crowds every day would give anyone in his position concern.
