World Football Idiot of the Week

Will TideySenior Manager, GlobalApril 15, 2013

Last week’s idiot, Joey Barton, can’t hold a candle to the two groups crowned this time around.

Their idiocy went far beyond Barton’s Twitter nonsense. It showed itself in violence and shamed the English game.

Just when you thought hooliganism was a thing of the past, these two sets of fans revisited the dark ages with their drunken riots at the weekend.

Thankfully behavior like this is rare. Thankfully both clubs will act quickly to punish the offenders and do everything possible to ensure they don’t appear at football matches in the near future.

Please be encouraged to submit your suggestions for next week’s idiot in the comments section below.
